Description:
Answering a distress call, Bashir and Dax beam down to a planet to discover that the entire population has been doomed by the Dominion to be born with a horrible blight. They all die prematurely, some still in their childhood. Starfleets idealistic doctor determins to create an antidote but faces some stiff resistance.
