Captain Benjamin Lafyette Sisko

Sisko is the commanding officer of Deep Space Nine. He lost his wife to the Borg at Wolf 359 but got his son Jake to saftey. After 3 years on Earth they moved to DS9 when Starfleet took control of it. Sisko became the emmisary to the Bajoran people when he discover a Wormhole leading to the gamma quadrant which they believe to be the celestial temple. Sisko is now in a relationship with maquis sympathiser Cassidy Yates.
